Hometeam is a fast-paced startup that provides tech-enabled in-home care for seniors.  We combine technology, compassion, and expertise to allow older adults to age in place while remaining connected to their support systems and communities.  Building upon that mission, we partner with health plans to measure and improve satisfaction and overall healthcare outcomes, with the goal of keeping older adults out of the hospital and lowering systemic healthcare costs.

Position Overview

Hometeam is seeking a hands-on individual to join the Company’s financial analysis team.  Reporting to the VP Finance, this individual would be responsible for budgeting and forecasting processes; management of the company’s key performance indicators, issuance of periodic reports for investors, leadership and business teams; and preparation of analyses to support strategic and cross-functional decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes, and developing the company’s financial models to support long-term planning and decision making.
  • Producing financial and operational reports for managers, investors, and key stakeholders.
  • Analyzing the company’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and partnering with our technology team to develop real-time reporting tools.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional leaders to design and implement company policies to optimize spending and resource allocation.
  • Providing ad hoc analytical and financial modeling support to support strategic company decisions
  • Supporting the finance team in fundraising activities.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Finance management


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics.
  • 2-4 years of financial or accounting experience.
  • Ninja-level Excel and Powerpoint skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Should be detail-oriented and have a thirst for solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Quickbooks, Salesforce, Looker, and /or ADP is a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare, particularly in the managed care space, is a huge plus.
